  • Has been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 2004

  • Founded the Precision Film Group in the 1970ís providing effects for TV

  • Spent eleven years with Charles and Ray Eames, during which time he filmed over 30 movies

  • Studied at the University Of California Los Angeles (ULCA) Film School during the 1960ís

  • Has taught advanced cinematography courses at both ULCA and Loyola-Marymount Universities

  • Co-designed the very first method for pin-registered transferring of film to video
