  • Her name is Greek for horse lover. The Anglo-Saxon version of that name is Eowyn

  • Her father, John, was once the principal of Meadowbank Primary School in Auckland

  • Studied at the University of Auckland and graduated in 1994 with a BA in English and History

  • Son Calum portrayed Haleth son of Hama in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
