Welcome Arundelle! I'm so excited to see another member join us! That's so cool that you married into an LOTR loving family! I agree Tolkien's is one of the best (if not the best for me ) and I love PJ's rendition of the movies too. <3 Like Jax said, we're all happy to help out so let us know if you need anything! ^^

Indeed! It's great to meet you and hope to get to know you around the board. If you ever have any questions just ask. The members here are pretty good at helping out the newcomers if needed.

Welcome Ibis. I hope you like it here. I'm not so long on this forum myself. I try to visit the forum daily but I don`t write very much (yet).

I think double posting is also frowned upon, so in case you didn't know - there is an edit button on the bottom-right corner of your post though so feel free to edit your posts to add more and avoid posting two consecutive posts.

ibis wrote: I must ask, are all members gone to fight the orcs, and they do not have the time to write? This forum used to be thirving! You could never keep up with everything and to post on the games you were half the time posting the answer at the same time someone else was. Unfortunately those days have passed and members have dwindled. However, it is still a great place and we are currently working on a revival to pick the activity back up! Things such as sharing the site on social media and to friends who love LOTR. Posting on twitter, updating the front page of the site with current news and maybe in the future doing some adds for the website itself. So the future is looking up and people like you are one major part in that future! So it's great to see you here and I am very pleased to see you are already getting involved on the forum threads.

I will share the link Aredhel Ar-Feiniel wrote: We do have lives outside of this forum ibis. Thank you for the warning about double posting, I will keep that in mind. As for your first sentence, it`s not very friendly. Please do not assume that someone is stupid before you get to know him/her.

I'm sorry if you feel that I implied such a thing, but it was certainly meant to be a friendly phrase and a simple statement... nothing more. And nowhere in my post does it imply that you are stupid.
