Welcome Rick to the exciting world of foruming at Arwen-Undomiel....dot....com! For a little introduction, let me further indulge your knowledge of my history.

My Name is Telpeath Undomiel, also commonly known as Telp. or even sometimes Telepath (note the misspelling). I have been a *hopefully* Faithful member to A&U since about 2004ish, but i think it was earlier but they deleted my posts....cause i was not a frequent visitor. I have now a good number of posts and am easily regarded as a good poster *i think*. I have a good insight into dreams, which was a big hit for a time here on A&U.

But enough about me, let me share with you some good tips i learnt from being new.

1) Dont be afraid to ask: There are always members *such as myself* that would be willing to help out on any questions that are asked. Also a good resource is the Moderators, they were chosen to answer questions for a reason.

2) Join a club: This is, i think, the best way to get to know people in the forum. And if you really want to be brave, start your own. People will join, it just takes time.

3) Just keep on posting: No way better to know people then by their posts. Just mke as many relevent posts as you can and people will start to get to know you.

Now that you know how to have people know you, i think you are now ready to slide down the rollercoaster of A&U. Good Luck, and remember if you need anything, just give me, or any other compitent Moderator a PM (Which is a Private Message or Instant Message).
