Greetings Arianna, and welcome to the forum! It's great that you decided to join, and I really hope you shall enjoy yourself around here to no end.

I too, have yet to read the Silmarillion, it's a bit daunting to me. But I hope to read it soon- just because I love Middle Earth, and desire to gain a better understanding of it.

The forum can be a bit overwhelming at first- so many places to post! It's good just to pick one section [I personally recommend The Green Dragon] an' become familiar with it. Then you can move on, and expand to various area's of interest.

wow that's cool. So, do you also live somewhere where it's very hard to get Tolkien books in book stores?? That's what it's like where I live, so I bought most of my Tolkien books on the internet.
