Hey everyone! :bye2: I've been coming to A-U for a very long time, but I never thought to join the forum. Well, I decided to change that today! I haven't really had a chance to look the forum over, but of what I've seen looks great (and the new layout is beautiful!--one of the things that tempted me to register! I just love the woods! :-D) The reason why I said that I'm "bored" is because I just got back from a 4 day trip to Gettysburg, PA and I loved it a lot more there than I do at home! I have no idea why they call this place the "Garden State" because Pennsylvania is the state with all the farms!!!!!!! :annoyed2:

A little bit about myself...I absolutely hated LotR when I was younger because I had the absolute misfortune of seeing the animated movies that they made some years back...if you've never seen them, consider yourself lucky lol. But once PJ's version came out, I was hooked for good. The books are fantastic. Besides LotR, a few of my other interests are: reading, writing, Ecology, conservation, art, HIKING, and gardening.
This is getting a little long, so I'll end this here for now lol. I look forward to meeting lots of great people here!!

Everyone is so friendly here! lol I've never had so many replies for being a newbie! :-D

Hey there, Elenriel! A familiar name! Yes, I'm Nienna from Elven Forest. I love it here so I'm going to have to divide my time between all my other forums besides this one. But that's half the fun! lol

And once I get settled, Alessae, I'd love to check out that fanclub that Curunir mentioned! I want to get involved in as many things here as possible!

I knew that I forgot to mention some things about myself! :annoyed2: At the end of August, I will be a senior in college. I can't believe that I'll have to get a real job! Blah...not looking forward to the real world...oh, and I'm an art major. :)

anyway (although you've heard this a bunch of times already)...WELCOME! my name is Gwenneth, but you can call me Gwen. :-D althoug this forum could be a bit overwhelming with the number of boards and threads, but don't worry...i'm sure you'll have a bunch of fun posting everywhere. ;) and most everyone here is really friendly.

Larael: Thanks a bunch! And I'm used to the "biting" lol. I'm actually an admin on another forum: The Gathering of the Elves. It's a nice place, but it's been very quiet the past few months.

Elberethsq: No, I've never been part of a tag board before. But I'd like to! I'll have to look into it. I'll be back to school at the end of August and I'll definetely have more time on my hands...isn't that weird? Less time during summer vacation than I would have at school...weird irony, but whatever lol.

Gwenneth: Better late than never, I always say. :) And you aren't even late anyway! lol I'll definetely PM you or any of the members if I have a question. But for the time being, I think that I'll just do some exploring!
