Post subject:  Oldie on the tag but new to the forum!
Hullo all!
I've been RPing on the tagboard for a whole decade now, but I'm totally new to the forum! I thought I'd give it a try since tagging is kind of hit-or-miss.
I've created many, many, many characters over the past ten years, but a few have remained near and dear to my heart, including Freda Brandlaf, Grimhild, Rilav, Gaerfindel, and others. I've been trying to fix my poor OC Mary Sue AE because I refuse to believe that she is ruined. My Dark Elf Lairë, whose true name is Redda, is my latest creation and current obsession.

I am indeed! ^^ Mostly RP, but I also write and publish poetry, and little stories which I usually keep to myself.

Are you Lindarielwen from the Council of Elrond and TORN (theOneRing.net)? If you are, I'm on those as well. You'll know me as Lady Oakenshield on Council of Elrond (which I had to rejoin, since my original account got locked for some reason, and Gwendeth's inbox is still full, or else I would let her know about the duplicate account), and Queen of Erebor on TORN. I recognized the avatar, so that's why I'm asking (I don't change mine much either, which is why I'll never play the Hobbit, Hobbit, Smaug game). Oh, I'm afraid not! I just picked this avatar randomly. I'll go change it! (What is this Hobbit, Hobbit, Smaug game?) This site, the corresponding Facebook group, and Lord of the Rings Online are the only other LOTR affiliations of which I'm a member.

Alrighty AE. No worries as Aredhel mentioned there are threads that have that info and it will vary depending on who you RP with. I am usually very casual and flexible to what other RPers want so as long as it's not outlandish I usually don't have an issue with anyone. :P

It's a game we play on the Council of Elrond where members get to "Smaug" other members into doing their bidding for a certain length of time. You can't "Smaug" anyone before two other people have posted "Hobbit" (or some form of it) first, hence the Hobbit, Hobbit, Smaug name of the game. Since there's a lot of "change your avatar" to so-and-so Smaugs, I don't like to participate. The only time I change my avatar is when my favorite character changes, and I've had the same favorite for two years (and counting, since my favorites don't change that much). :)

P.S. You didn't have to change your avatar (unless you wanted to), I just recognized it from the other site, so I was wondering if you were the same person.

That's cool! I used to write too until I realized I have no like no talent for it, lol.
It's such a great talent to be able to write. ^^
