Hello AU, I am new here and just wanted to say hello. I love the design of this forum. Everyone seems so nice and this looks like the perfect Tolkein themed board. I have used this site for the images and resources in my graphic art and it seems this place has a lot of artist. I hope to share my art with you all. I know a little bit about the story outside the movies as I read the Lord of the Rings Wiki and places like that but I do plan to read the books. I do know a lot about Tolkien himself who was truly and inspirational man. I hope to see you guys around! |

Hello Everyone! I am enjoying my stay. I am having fun here. I love the Kili and Tauriel banner. I love the effects used on the first one with Kili and the bow. You guys have all welcomed me and I like it here. I have another question, do you guys still do the Elvish Name translation? I'd love to get mine done! I am learning my way around and I'm glad to see so many nice faces

Good to know you are enjoying your time on AU!  There are a few members who are very knowledgable in elvish. I am not, unfortunately. For names, however. I believe the easiest way to do it is to find the meaning of your name and then find elvish words or an elvish word that has the same meaning. A lot of time they combine two words I think using prefixes or suffixes from the secondary word... But son't quote me on all this.
