Post subject:  What India loses when folk games vanish

I was chatting with some older relatives about the games they played as kids, like Ganjifa cards and Chaupar, and it struck me how these traditional games are almost completely forgotten today. Growing up, these games weren’t just for fun — they taught strategy, patience, and social skills. Now, kids mostly play digital or imported games. It makes me wonder what cultural knowledge and shared experiences we’re losing when these traditional games fade away. Has anyone noticed a real difference in how younger generations connect with each other compared to older traditions?
