Is it gold or silver? I can't tell. It looks like either, at different times.

I've always thought it was silver. However, I could be completely wrong. If I am, somebody please correct me.

I think it's silver, and the lighting just makes it look gold at times.

Yeah I also think it's silver. I'm not 100% sure, but I can only remember it as being silver.

I think it is pretty safe to assume that if so many people beliebe it's silver that it really is silver. Like Aerandir said, it probably just looks gold in some lights.

Yeah, no doubt it's silver. Most chains back in the medieval times were, and I doubt that Frodo would be so fancy as it get a gold chain for it, nor would the Elves feel it important to gloify the presence of the ring.

I would buy the ring in gold if I were you. It's just more realistic. But I think a ring in gold is very expensive isn't it?? I don't think I could afford it...
