Oh, I knew about those two little blue guys. :-D I love their names, and I think it's sad that you never actually get to see them in the story...do you suppose they were twins or something? ;) With twin staffs and everything? (yeah, yeah, trying to stay on topic here...:) )

Oh yeah. And I think it's sad how Radagast never made the cut, either. I mean, in the book (and I know this is movie discussion but meh...) Radagast was the one who told Gandalf to seek out Saruman if he needed counsel. I don't know about anyone else, but I went through the possibility in my mind that he too had fallen and was in league with Saruman (as did Gandalf in the book). So I think it would've been cool to have that scene where Radagast and Gandalf meet, at least, in the FotR movie.

Oh yeah and for relevancy: I like staffs! :-D

Hmmm I don't see Radagast as in a league with Saruman. Saruman must've knew Gandalf would come to him for counsel sooner or later since he is titled the head of the council of wizards. He was probably the most valuable of all the Maiar -- Although Radagast had forgotten his mission, he still probably remembered Saruman being their 'chief'.

In another revelance of this thread:

.........Staffs are sexy. :)

Yeah, good ol' Radagast. :) I love that guy. I would have love to see him talk to Gandalf in the movie. Patrick Stewart (however you spell it) could have played him! :)

Oh, and for revelancy: I don't know about staffs being sexy, but I know that I wouldn't mind having one! :-D
