I would like to know if I can somewhere find the song which is played in RotK
when Gandalf saves Faramir and drives off Nazgul. So if you know where I can find it please tell me because it's not on the soundtrack

If it's not on the soundtrack then we have to wait until the RotK Complete Recordings CD will be released next year (it'll definitely be on there!) |

I remember it as being just a high tone... But I might be wrong there... could you describe it a little further so we can help you out? (Btw Lovely sig, Haldir!!!) |

I probably should wait, it's easier because I don't know the title or I don't know how to describe it expect there really is a high tone woman singing. But thanks anyway to all

I'm not sure but I think I have this song.It's called "Minas Tirith" and it's performed by Howard Shore & Dan Bel Maestro. |

I also think that it can be found on Track 3 of the RotK OST "Minas Tirith", starting at 2:02. See Magpie's site for the track breakdown by when each part was in the movie here. The poem is called "the White Rider" and goes thus in Sindarin: Mennen nored dîn, Gwanwen i 'ûr bân, Sílant calad Dûn, Tollen Rochon 'Lân, though they're in different order in the actual song. Not mentioning what I think of certain aspects of the translation / pronunciation....[/b] |
