Now, I can't sing to save my life and my piano skills are pretty bad as well since I'm self taught.
But I love this song and couldn't help myself. So here, have some horrid singing:

The Last Goodbye cover.

I really did this just for fun, and because I couldn't think of a better way to - for myself - say goodbye to the prospect of any new movies from the world of Tolkien and to remind myself that though there won't be any more we still have the books and the movies and the soundtracks and that means the journey isn't really over and it never will be.

It's a sad story and to think that all the movies are over... the books are left, but the rage will die down over them.

Perhaps they will take a story or two out of the silmarilion. ;)

Peter Jackson won't. He's made it clear that he's done with the saga. And genuinely, without him I don't want anything new.

To be honest I think it's best if things remain as they are. I fear that more movies may be going overboard! I don't think something as vast as the Silmarillion could ever be translated into a movie.

Also you have a lovely singing voice!

You might be right Aredhel, perhaps it is best.

Although doing the silmarilion as whole would certainly be impossible it would make no sense. To pull some of the individual stories out of it, however, I think would be doable IF done right.

Oh, thank you.
I really just did it as a way of saying goodbye, I don't care how good or bad my voice or my piano playing was. I am making a cover of I See Fire too though, and I just might share it here. :pirate:
