She annoys me in Use Well the days, but Into the West is awesome! Use Well the Days has wonderful lyrics, but the music is a little like "Ok, is it done, yet?" Though, that is hard to say, concerning I love all the soundtracks.

I haven't heard any of Annie Lennox's music, really, aside from "Into the West". I've heard mixed reviews regarding her work, although I'm not informed enough to have one myself.

It's not my favorite song, but I like the tune and the lyrics as well, though the vocals could have been picked better.

I actually really like her voice. I hadn't ever really heard anything by her b4 RotK, but I love Into the West. I think her voice fits really well, it's very... ethereal.

When I first heard "Into the West", I was quite surprised at the sound of Annie Lennox's voice. I didn't like it very much, but after I had listened to the song for a while I became used to it. I find some sections of the song very beautiful, but other parts I think another singer may have handled better.

It's a beautiful song, the lyrics are great, but I agree with some here, her vocals aren't perfect.

I like the range "Use Well The Days" takes Annie's voice, I think her voice sounds better in that song. However, the lyrics suck. I like the lyrics of "Into the West" much better. Her voice sounds fine in "Into the West", but it could have been better.

When I first heard it I loved it and listened to it over and over and still do, but I can see where a lot of you are coming from, but I'm looking at the lyrics and what if another artist had done this, say Enya. I don't think her voice has the power to give the kind of send off the films and everythign we fell in love with deserved. While it may or may not (kinda up to you) fit there... I think they needed that kind of power to end... everything.

I really like the song and Annie singing it. It is a personal fave. In fact, it's one of my most frequently listened to songs... :p

I agree Into the West was better than Use Well the Days. The latter's melody and rhythm were rather repetitive, it gave me a feeling like I can't wait for it to end, and that isn't good... Also, Into the West sounded much more LotR-ish, it's one of my favourite songs :)
