What did everyone think of Gollum's Song? I personally find it an exelent song for the end of TTT.

I liked the song itself, but the voice singing it somehow didn't work for me. I don't know how to say it, it just didn't sound 'Middle-earthian'.

I liked it. Bit more than May It Be even. But that's maybe I don't have FotR soundtrack and haven't listened to May It Be so often...

I agree with you Eowyn. I imagined Gollum singing this song because it "sounds" like something he would sing.

I didn't really like the voice at first, it sorta creeped me out, but as I listened more, I liked it more. Her voice sounds lonely, longing, but still kinda hardened toward the people who hurt her, or Gollum. I think the song shows how Gollum/Smeagol felt.

At first I kind of disliked the song... like somebody already said on here, it didn't sound Middle-Earthian enough (both the song and the voice), but the more I listened to it, the more I loved it and now I think her voice is perfect for the song!

I think the whole song captures the hopelessness they all feel towards the end of the movie, when they think everything is lost. I think the song plays wonderfully, not only to Gollum's story but also to Frodo's journey!

I thought the voice was creepy and didn't ilke it at first too. But it really works for Gollum.
And I totally agree about Frodo's journey. There's the phrase "we are lost, we can never go home", which kind of foreshadows the "Go home!" moment between Frodo and Sam, which happened because of Gollum.

When I first heard it, I hated it, but after listening and re-listening, I have to admit it does fit with well, Gollum! :D

At first I didn't like it, and found it rather odd, but now I think it fits perfectly. Do you now who sings it? I'm pretty sure her name begins with a vowel......

when i first listened 2 it i thought it would be a song sung by gollum :blink: but i like the song.its sort of eerie and sad.
