Aw, me loves that song. *Points at 3 banners in animated one* Can you tell? I know it off by heart. It's funny, I wasn't too keen on it at the end of FotR but once I got the sound tracks I adored it. :P

In the dark I hear a call,
calling me there,
I will go there,

I love that song, its so beautiful.

Love that song- by far one of the best music tracks in LotR. Ah, who am I kidding, the whole entire soundtrack of each movie is great. XD

I love those lyrics. Do you think it pertains to Frodo,Sam, or Aragorn?

The Breaking of the Fellowship is really one of my favourite songs of the FOTR soundtrack. It's sooooo beautiful and sad...
I think it's really hard to decide about whom the song is. It could either be Aragorn & Boromir, Frodo & Gandalf, Frodo & Aragorn or Frodo & Sam...

New to the board, so I must weigh in on this one! "The Breaking of the Fellowship" is, by far, the most beautiful piece of music that I've ever heard! I've been privilleged enough to hear the LOTR Symphony 4 times now, once conducted by Mr. Shore himself. The tears begin to flow at the opening bars every time! When I watch the films, I cry as the music begins as Frodo is standing there holding the Ring in his hand. A perfect piece of music which summons all of the emotions of all that we have viewed and experienced thus far in the film. Pulls the heart out of the chest and stomps all over it!!! Even listening to the soundtrack, I can cry (I've gotten teary eyed even at work!). To the master of music, Mr. Shore, I say "Bravo!" to this masterpiece of music! Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!!

Oh, I really love that song, too. I think the lyrics are sooo beautiful. I can only agree with what you say about the scene in the movie Guard of the Citadel.
When Frodo is standing there holding the Ring and I listen to the music it makes me cry every time. I also think that it's a perfect piece of music. Howard Shore is a genius.
You're very lucky to have watched the LOTR Symphony. I so wish I could just watch it once conducted by Howard Shore. That'd be so wonderful.
