I love May It Be, and I think Enya's voice was a good choice for the ending song.

Has any1 heard 'May It Be' by Enya? It was in the FotR soundtrack. It's a really great song and if you've heard it, please tell me what you think about it!! |

Definitely my favorite song on the FotR soundtrack! I think this song was great, it still had the "enya ambience" yet it still had the LotR feel as well. What does everyone think of the covers of "May it Be"? I know Celtic Woman did a renindition of the song, it had great vocals and stuff, but I just didn't think it had the same "feeling" as when Enya did it. |

I love ''May It Be" Enya has such a great voice  . That song was perfect for the end of FOTR and they couldn't have picked a better person to sing it  . I was at a resturant once and they started playing May it Be as the background music which surprised me  but it was really great being able to listen to LOTR music while u eat!

I liked Enya music before "May It Be." Then The Lord of the Rings came out. What a perfect combination! My friends and I used to run around singing it at the top of our lungs--the first bit of Elvish I ever learned! |

I have always enjoyed Enya music ever since I was first introduced to it by my older sister. It was so different, but stirring at the same time. As for "May It Be" oh my goodness I just love that song! It fit the first of the trilogy films so well. I highly recommend it to anyone! |

OMIGOLLY! I [i]LOVE[/i] Enya! i know three of her songs by heart, and they are the only songs done by her that i have ever heard. the three songs are May It Be, Long, Long Journey, and Someone Said Goodbye. i know 'em by heart and i sing them all the time! my 3 brothers and 1 sister are SICK of them, and they get really annoyed when [i]they[/i] start singing it too! i also like Arwen's song. has anyone heard of the song called 10,000 miles? |
