I've been waiting for a game like this for forever. I can't wait for it to come out!! I think I might be an elf...My class would be lore-master. I would probably go to Rivendell first, then maybe Minas Tirith. The game has got to be HUUGE to be able to fit all this stuff in.

I've been waiting forever for a game like this, same as Envinyon, but they've got a fee, which mean's there's practically no way I'm going to be getting it (I have no steady income). Grrr....

Awesome game! That game looks sweet. I thought of making a game like that, or recommending it. I wish it was free. I have like no money that I want to spend on it. I would be broke. When does it come out? I know for sure it has to cost something.

I joined! And signed up for beta. I hope I get the invite, anyways.

Well, I heard the release is early 2007 like January or February (within two months!! :) ) It's like one of those games were you go to a store a buy it, but it has a monthly online fee. I'm sure its probably only like $5-10/mo.

I don't mind the cost personally. Yeah, and about the size, I heard it'd take ten hours to walk from south eriador to north eriador.

I can't wait.

I would play it, but $15 a month? That's just silly. :disgust:

I was initially psyched about this game when it was announced in 2003.
But by late 2005, I kind of lost interest in wanting to play it.

Of course its called
Lord Of The Rings Online - Shadow of Angmar and they say it will be released early this year.

Ehh.. I know this is a bit old, but I would like to say, the game is going to be released in six days. Open beta exsists until then, and it's a completely free opportunity to see if you would want to buy it. You can download it at this url.

And for the price, I read up on some FAQs, and it's going to be about $10 a month.

And now I see that the MEO/LOTRO franchise has been shed by Turbine and taken over by Standing Stone Games. On the surface it sounds good, but we'll see how it plays out.

They took it over months ago. It hasn't been that great.
