I don't know why they were not that way. It's a pain. As I stated before, the big plus is that they're much faster than the standard steeds. There's mounted combat with them, too. That is hard to get use to and takes a lot of practice.

Yeah. I guess the speed would make a big difference.
How was the mounted combat? Did you do a lot more damage or have a lot more health? Or how was it a huge upgrade from normal combat?

It varies depending on the kind of war-steed you choose and the type of bridle you pick for it. Here's the info about war-steeds. http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/War_Steed

Cool. *runs off to read* I didn't realize before the bridle made a difference. So they are basically like a legendary weapon?

Yeah, pretty much. Whatever you do though, do not pick a heavy war steed. They are the least agile and you don't want that when it comes to mounted combat.

The heavy steeds the fastest? Hm... That seems a little backwards to me. Lol. Usually, like with the weapons the heavy weapons do more damage but are much slower attack speeds etc...
Really makes me wish I had not stopped playing before Ingot to that point in the game.

Agh! It's the other way around. The Light steeds are the fastest Oops. The Heavy steeds better fitted for combat and stronger armor. Sorry about that. Get back into then lol They're about to release Mordor expansion, and I think the game is near done from there.

Gotcha. Lol No worries! I troed a few times but it is so hard to get anywhere with such a massive ammount of content and most of the time I only have like a few hours a week to play... so I end up loosing interest in the face if what seems to be an insermountable task due to my slow pace in advancement because of my lack of quality play time. :/ I have thought about getting on creep side though. I had a warg that was decently set up and that was always kind of fun.
