Well, heck... if you have not played much you could always choose a new server. ;)

That's true. They did close down a lot of servers and many players had to transfer to new ones, myself included. You can still do it.

How many servers are left?

Ten. Five are US and the other five are EU ones.

Ah, I see. It's been so long... only ten huh? used to be a bunch more. It's kind of sad to see the game go downhill but at the same time, I myself never get on anymore either. It's just so hard to have enough un-interrupted play time even after I do have work and all my responsibilities out of the way. The kids are always coming to me for something... I watched a 2 and a half hour movie today and it took me 4 hours to get it finished... and it's just so hard for me to get into a game like LOTRO when I keep getting interrupted.

Yeah, there use to be about 20 of them, I think. It's the game is going down, it was more of consolidating servers. Several of them were not very active and didn't have as many players as others, so in a way in did make sense to get rid of them. But, I was originally on a server called Imaldris. That one was pretty active, it was one that was closed. I feared of server over population and I thought the game would leg like hell, but it really isn't actually. The really good thing about the server consolidating here is that there's more people on a server so therefor making it easier to gather groups for instances and raids.

Yeah, I could see that. Even when I was playing a year ago or so it was hard to get people together for group raids and such. I was on Gladen, and it was decently active... just not if you were wanting to do a group quest. lol

Half of the game consists of group quests. You don't get very far in the game without it.

I would always come back to do the group quests once I was higher lvl. If you hit all the right solo quests and do the few group quests that you can solo I could get pretty far. I never did reach the lvl cap, though... because every time I was close they upped it and about lvl 60 ish I finally gave up... lol

I just started a new character and got a couple other characters up to around 50s or so. but then I kind of stopped playing.

Thanks for the info. Yeah it's been hard for me to find time to get on there.

I know all too well how that goes. I rarely even get on TOR which is my preference since it is starwars but last time I played that was 3 weeks ago.

Time is hard to come by!

Cap level is 105 now  When I first starting playing back in 2011, it was 75. My main toon is at level 105 :P She's badass. Been like year sense that last upped it. I like when do they it cause it gives us something to work more towards. I need to renew my VIP account. I keep forgetting to go so. I'll be able to get all of Gondor for free.

Dang... Lol Level cap was 50 when game released. Inhad a lifetime account back then... But my brother kind of took it over. -_- I never played a lot after that. My main toon was on that account. He'd be level 105 by now for sure I had him like 68 and that was when the level cap was 70 I think.

I can't immagine 105 lol I bet it's a blast playing your main toon!

And gondor! I was sooo looking forward to the war mounts... And then I never even made it to Gondor... *sighs* lol

It is, but there's a lot of work with it as well.

You get the war steeds in Rohan. You can get them at level 70. They are hard to work with at first, but the plus is that they're faster than the normal steeds.

Oh, right! Shows you how much Inremember... Dang... That means Inwas 2 freek'n lvls away?! And then my brother stole my lifetime account... -_- Gosh that sux. Lol

Yeah, I saw people running around on them. They seemed odd to control.

Post subject:  Re: LOTR ONLINE

Oh gods, they are! They are not as easy to control as the standard steeds. Best be careful of some areas you ride in. Don't ride through Rivendell on a war steed, you'll go right off the bridges. Hell, I do that with the standard steeds lol. And watch out for cliffs, you'll ride right off lol

Gosh.... Why did they make them so squirlly?? Seems odd but yeah, my brother was telling me you drift a lot with them or something? so I could see the edges and bridges being pretty precarious! Lol
