The way to beat the KotD is just repeat the same tactic over again. It's not too hard. O_o

Lego is good, Aragorn is alright, and Gimli won't win it for you because he's too slow for this part, and the part that follows, which was so random that they had to add that part in.

When you reach the mist turn around and jump backwards. Stay to the left.

The cave-collapsing part is the hardest. Try looking in the strategy guide next time you go to Barnes and Noble, or just keep trying different ways. There is a checkpoint after you beat the KOTD part, so just try the running part until you beat it.

I finished the game at last. And I think that the hardest stage is KOTD.

The hardest part is the final battle. This would be an easy level apart from the time limits. Once you've got the basic blocking skills and understand the King's attacks you can defeat him.
The more difficult part is the second section. Running from the rocks takes practice to know where each rock is going to come down- yes, they do kill you. The first battle is OK if you put the special ability on before you start. At the start of the second one you've got to take down the two with shields and pikes behind you before the rock starts spawning more or else they'll sap your strength from behind. Preferably use your special ability again if it's recharged. If it doesn't then save it for this battle. The special ability puts you in perfect mode faster if you're playing Legolas, who I would reccomend, and you take down enemies faster in perfect mode.
The third battle is by far the fiercest, but it may not seem like it at first. You can't take even a few seconds rest if you want to beat the time limit, the only thing you should run out of the battle for is the health potion and only then if there's no enemy who might give you one once you defeat him. The final three, the ones with the two flaming swords, will not all come at you at once. But you've got to take them all down at the same time, very fast, if you want to get out. Legolas will attack one, then the next, then the third, and by the time he's hit the third the first one will be ready to take another strike. Try to have the special ability ready at this point, you'll be able to use it several times during this battle because it takes so long. Keep to the archers and lesser enemies when it's recharging, take down the ones with shields and pikes with it on. But if you take out the shield, the other two characters will distract them as well, so they shouldn't be able to hurt you from behind if you stick with the other two.

Hope this helps everyone!

Well, I play it on Xbox so I don't know if it is really all that similar, but here is what I do...

I have beaten the King as Legolas and Aragorn (though I am sure that you could do it with any character that has arrows or something of the sort). I just stay behing one of the big rocks and shoot arrows at everyone and if they come near me I block them and run around like a crazy person, trying not to get hit.

I am not sure how much help that will be, but there it is. I hope it will be of some use.

 this might have been said before but, when hes standing there you wack him then when he wacks you you just do parry over and over, then when his men come you take out the archers with ranged and of course his infantry with your sword, knife, axe, then you go to one end, and when his bar reappears you shoot at him, that helps a lot, then repeat till he uses mountain wind, then you gotta hide behind the rock! and for getting out when everyti=hing is falling down i suggest gimli because he can wade throuygh the rocks but legolas and aragorn get stuck easier!

Hopefully no one will mind if I change the subject for a second, but is there anyone here who can give any hints as to how the heck to beat the Minas Tirith- Top of the Wall level?

i beat the king of the dead on the pc game. it took me FOREVER but really once you know what to do you just have to give it your all. i also used bellaonline.com for walkthrough help.

also when you finally beat him but have to run and fight others to get out, i have found that i think its a matter of time. if you take to long to kill them your going to die so on that part you also just have to give it your all and just go.
it does help if you use your most powerful hit when using physical contact.
