Yeah, that is a pretty hard part in the game. I usually use Legolas when trying to beat him. (This was a long time ago though.) And each time The King of the Dead, was about to like 'blow everything away' I would go hide behind the same rock so it wouldn't hurt me. And then I would fire arrows at him, and also, whenever you get close to him use combos against him and just keep going behind that rock. (The computer takes you to the rock..I think. In the beginning) And remember to keep killing the other dead he summons, so they won't hurt you. If you use combos against him after a while you will eventually beat him.

Hope I could be of some help. (Also I played it on XBOX..so..I hope it's the same for the PC game, but it should be.)

I don't remeber who I played it with, but who ever it was, he had special arrows. Try to use arrows as much as you can, avoid hand to hand combat, that saves your health, keep running away from the king and shooting arrows at him when you can. And hid behind the rock agains arrows and wind. I hope this helps. :-D

Legolas is the one with the special arrows (Which is why I was playing with him.) So yeah, you also played with Legolas too. Well actually, all of the characters with bows get upgrades to their arrows, but Legolas has the strongest, and his main upgrades are the arrows. So I'm sure it was Legolas you were playing with.

What also kinda helped is using multiplayer mode, one person stands and shoots arrows at him(Legolas is best) and the other just goes up to the king of the dead and blocks. because then the k.o.t.d. is busy trying to fight the person that blocks.

When the King of the Dead comes at you at first, he strikes three times. Parry them and attack him until he sinks into the ground. As he does this, you can use your finishing blow to get in one more attack. The ghosts he summons shouldn't give you too much trouble, and they might give you health bonuses if you're running low. (Always have a fully charged arrow waiting for the King of the Dead as he comes at you afterwads) After several rounds, he will strike 5 times, so adjust your parrying accordingly. Done correctly, he can be defeated without using arrows, but they sure come in handy.

I have it on Xbox, but it's the same game. Since you have it on the PC, are you using a controller? It's a game that definitely needs one.

Figure out his strike pattern. At first he'll strike at you three times, then pause. Your pattern needs to be block, block, block, then attack. As legolas you can get in three speed attacks, as ant other charactor or attack only go for two. He'll do this several times then sink. Pull a killing move, then get ready to fight his soldiers.
After he starts summoning the wind, his attack pattern changes to four strikes, a tiny pause then another strike. So you need to parry 4 times, then wait a very little time then parry again. This time you can also probably get three speed attacks as Legolas, otherwise only two attacks.
Hope this helps!

But after finished him, I should escape from the path, right? But I always be killed with no reasons, is that because of the falling rocks?
