Post subject:  Youtube Gamers

I don't know if there's a subject for this yet, but if not, there is one now.

A youtube gamer is someone who plays a game (duh) while filming themselves reacting and commenting on what they're playing. Pewdiepie is the biggest one at this point with over 50 million subscribers. Why I'm making this thread is because youtube gamers have helped me so much in the past few years. Watching them, getting into playing games again, and other very important things.

For example, just last month I went to Stockholm and saw Jacksepticeye and Game Grumps live which was absolutely amazing. It was an early Christmas present from my mum. And as a late birthday present she ordered a Markiplier (yet another gamer) hoodie for me which I got about a week ago. What's so special about it is that it was part of his monthly charity stream, meaning it was only available for one week, and they only made as many as people ordered (there were t-shirts too though) which makes it unique. And they also made absolutely no money from it, it all went to charity. Which I think is pretty brilliant.

Another youtuber I love who was the first gamer I watched is the much less "famous" Yamimash, who is awesome to watch streaming live because he doesn't have that many people watching and keeps an eye on the chat so you can actually have proper conversations with him. I think it's been like 4-5 years since I discovered him. It's pretty amazing.

So, anyone else here who loves watching these let's plays?

Can’t say inwatch them regularly but I have watched several in the past. (Names slip my poor memory) They are a TON of help though!

Those pesky little parts of some games, like star Wars galaxies had an underground bunker called the Warren... oh my gosh... O_O You couldnsolo the thing in 40 minutes if you knew the place... but it was so conveluted that if you did not it would take you near 3 hours. (Or at least took menthat long the first go through)

I looked that up on youtube and that helped immensely.

Yeah I can totally relate. Have watched a lot of them over the past few years and yeah it helped me get through some rough times as well.

upupdowndown is a good one. It's ran by some of the WWE wrestlers.
Strange Rebel Gaming is another good one.
Ghost Robo
Bowlingotter
GT Live Are a few others out of the many I watch.

OH MY GOOOOOD!

A few days ago I booked a VIP ticket to Markiplier's You're Welcome tour since they're coming to Sweden this time! March 1st I get to see Mark, Crankgameplays, Muyskerm, Lordminion777 and Tyler doing an improv show! I'm beyond happy, because now, with this, I'll have a full pot. I'll have seen ALL my favorite youtubers live, since I saw Jacksepticeye back in October. I thought I'd miss this show, since they bypassed Sweden last time, but apparently they decided since it was so popular they'd go again, and I'm soooo happy they're coming here! Sure, I'll have to give up smoking and live supercheap to be able to afford it, but it'll be worth it when I'm there!

Little over a week left until I get to see Markiplier, Crankgameplays. Muyskerm, Lordminion777 and Apocalypto_12 live! I'm so excited for the show, everything I've read about it and Mark's vlogs make it seem so friggin' great! I'm one happy camper!

I've now seen the above youtubers and it was a magical night. I felt so dang happy, and the show was fantastic, and even though I didn't get a chance to go on stage I was still happy.

YouTube’s algorithms are powerful, but not omniscient. They can’t tell how viral a video will go. They can’t tell which factors will drive the most views https://gyre.pro/blog/what-we-know-abou ... early-2022 . They can however, help promote videos that have excellent social optimisation & monetization done already.
