 Post subject: Pronunciation of elvish

So, my first question is how is the "y" pronounced in Sindarin. I suppose it is like "u" in "cUte", but the comparison with ü has condused me, because a friend of mine told me that ü is sometimes like "cUte", or sometimes like "dUll", or in the middle ("gUn").

And the second question is to ask the exceptions of the rules for stressing Sindarin words. Write them down please.

Could you provide an example in a word or two. ie. Words with y in. It would help with explaining, and help me understand all of your post :P

well in most cases i think it's pronounced "ee"
