Mine would be Vanya, for beautiful. I like the meaning for Alena or Alanah better...

My name means 'hay-clearing' or 'from the hay meadow' and in Sindarin that would be Salchladen or Tharladen. In Quenya that would be Salquelatina.

Well looking at the name directory here, my name is Laesneniel (which I like), but the meaning put under my name is totally wrong. My name is Anglo-Saxon and it means "knowing", can anybody translate that into Elvish for me? Also I was wondering if there is a way to find out names in the language of Rohan?

I couldn't find my name translated into Elvish anywhere, but I know that my name is the Irish equivalent of Joan, meaning "God is gracious". So my Elvish name is Eruraina, therefore my username.

my names are Alma Daniela, could not find Alma in Quenya so my name in Sindarin is Maneth Eruvadhril, according to the councilofelrond.com, it stuck with me and it has been my online alias for years.
Alma means Soul in Spanish Sindarin: Mân; fem. Maneth, Manwen 'spirit-maiden', Maniel 'spirit daughter' Daniela French, English: God is my judge. Sindarin: Eruvadhor, Eruvadhron; fem. Eruvadhoreth; fem. Eruvadhril ¤

My name is Ireth Ancalimon, but in this elvish name dictionary it's Tuluwen in Sindarin and means helper, and Hyamme in Quenya. Elanor

My name is Camille, which means "Virginal." In elvish, it translates to "Venessiel", thus my user name

My first name means "song" (Aerliniel) and my middle name means "hearing" (Lathronniel)
Thing is, my name is actually in the Silmarillion (Rana, pronounced Rena) and it means "moon" or "wayward". But I don't know if it makes a difference with spelling because in A-U's elvish section it's spelled Rena, so . . .
