My name means "meadow on a ledge"(yes very weird I know) which according to this site is Rhasslairiel. I have no idea what my last name means, so I just use "Rochdil" which means horse lover... ~Feanor

The closest translation I can find of my first and middle names (using the name list here on A-U) is Nostariel Inimeitiel. I'm not sure how accurate it is, though, because there isn't an exact 'translation' for my name. I found my name on the list and it told me to 'see Alicia', which led me to the name Nostariel. However, Alicia and Allison have similar meanings but are completely different names, so I don't know. The translation for my middle name is spot-on, though...but it's very hard to say! XD

Yes! Same with mine! My name is Rana (pronounced Rena) and it's in the Silmarillion - it means "Moon" or "Wayward" but before I started to read the Silmarillion, I looked on A-U's name list and saw "Rena" - Aerliniel - so I'm not sure which mine is...
I have a friend names Alyson! I think it's such a pretty name!

My real name translated is Vande, but I wasn't satisfied so I made myself two other names, one in Quenya and one in Sindarin. Quenya- Ellirwen ("star-song" with wen "maiden" suffix). Sindarin- Cellineth ("flowing music" with eth "maiden" suffix). I use Ellirwen most (almost all) of the time.

Oh! those are gorgeous names!!! So, you just add "wen" to the end to make it for a maiden?

I am learning Sindarin the best I can right now. I found two names for mine (Thalionwen and Calloniel) but I love Calloniel. It sounds better to me. My name means hero. My middle name is Saerwen which means bitter. I am a bitter hero...makes sense actually. -Calloniel Saerwen

My name means "lamb of God", so in Elvish it's Tithenmamiwen, (Tee-then-mah-mee-wehn). A mouthful, right? My middle name means "white-faced", which in Elvish is Nimthîriel (Nim-theer-ee-ell). Don't ask me what my last name means, I have no idea. I'm Tithenmamiwen Nimthîriel.

I have several names that I go by in Elvish. Mostly I use the direct translation of my name "pale skinned": Malweth. Sometimes I prefer a looser translation: "pretty" and go by Bainwen.
For my maiden name I use "Daughter of White One" - Nimmiel, and since Elves don't change these names to their husband's names... I keep it when giving my Elven name. Also, I can't figure out what my new last name means. It's really rare, and I can't figure out what language it came from to even get an idea of where to start looking. His family hasn't kept records either, so all we know is that they might have come from France.
Sometimes I prefer using a chosen name. Then, I use Lammaen - "Clever Tongue" because of my love of singing improve, composing poetry, and Linguistics.
Ai! Im Nimmiel Lammaen!

Obviously, my name is Nicole which means something like 'victorious among the people.' In Elvish it translates to Turwaithiel and I have used that name forever. I still use it in my email address and everything. Back when I ran my LotR fansite, it was called Arwen Turwaithiel. So yes, it has been a part of me for a very long time. ^^
