I've been learning Sindarin, and the small dictionary in the Silmarillion has helped. I can translate from English to Elvish...I haven't been very focused on learning it, so I will be studying that among the other things I must work on.

I have copied wordlists so I could practice making sentences, and I find myself yelling 'go jump in Mount Doom!' in Elvish when I'm mad. Go figure..

If you check the Elvish section of this site, there's a very good elvish site mentioned in the interview with david salo. :) Ardalambion, I think it is. They have some courses on there, and they helped me quite a bit.

I can speak Sindarin pretty well. I still need a bit of work, but I'm doing well. :) I learned from a couple great books and then from online stuff (mostly off of A-U)

I get it from listening to the films and writing it phonetically so I find it difficult to read some Elvish as I'm so used to seeing it written my way.
I have the Tolkien Companion though, and that's a great help :)

Of course noone can hope to ever speak it fluently, considering that it is an incomplete language and various verbs and nouns would have to be invented.

I can spek a few words and phrases in Elvish, but I don't think I could ever speak it fluently.
