The book I have is called The Languages of Tolkiens Middle-earth by Ruth S. Noel. It has some useful tools within it.

I only know a few words now, such as Mae Govannen and Namarie, but I'm working on it. And I also have The Languages of Tolkien's Middle Earth as well, Elda, and it's very helpfull, especially if you want to learn how to write in Elvish, and it also has good dictionaries.

Well ... for those who really want to speak with each other in Elvish, I've created two new threads for conversing in Sindarin and Quenya with others [[in the language section]]... check it out!

i can speak some elvish. I LOVE LURTZ! my friends even called me lurtz. so i figured out how to write LURTZ and say FIND THE HALFLINGS in elvish. I can say it fluintly. Find the halflings in elvish is my sig. I figured out that Harad is called Harad because HAR in elvish means south. And RHUN means east. so thats how some of the names came from. My first elvish word was mellon. i NEARLY figured out how to say NO MAN CAN KILL ME in elvish. i cant figure out what "can" is.

I speak a little, I just started, so I guess I'm still learning, but that's why I have Haldir_o_Lorien, I just let her correct me when I'm wrong
