Depends on which Elvish you mean.
^That's Sindarin.
In Quenya, it would be yelde. (in names, it would be -iel, as in Uineniel, Daughter of Uinen).

yeah like in many female elvish names, a lot of them end with "iel"

A lot do end with -iel, you're right. Lol, to me, Sindarin seems like more work! (All the mutations and such confuse me!) But i'm trying to learn it. Ethel linna nu elenath... (Tell me should you spot a mistake,Haldir. )

Thanks! It's the sort of thing i tend to say off the top of my head, when i'm being poetic... But we're getting offtopic, i guess. Oh well, there's not too much more this thread can say about the Elvish word for daughter.
