Depends on which Elvish you mean. 
^That's Sindarin.

yeah like in many female elvish names, a lot of them end with "iel"

A lot do end with -iel, you're right. Lol, to me, Sindarin seems like more work!  (All the mutations and such confuse me!) But i'm trying to learn it. Ethel linna nu elenath...
