21. In Bree, they made the furniture bigger than Elijah and company just so they could shoot close-up shots (not doubles) and still look tiny.

24. Sean Bean hates heights, so he preffered to get up in the early hours and climb of massive hills for shooting instead of taking the helicopter!

25. the sword arwen has when she confronts the nazgul is the same sword elrond had in the prologue

26. when filming saruman's death for the EE, christopher lee described to peter jackson the exact sound a person made when they were stabbed (which leads one to wonder exactly how he knew)

27. In the TTT, when Legolas, Aragon, and Gimil think Pippin and Merry are dead (by fangorn and the burning orc bodys), Aragon kicked the orc helmet he broke 2 or 3 toes. That is why he screamed so loud after.

29. PJ gave the entiere crew vests that said 'day 333' on them, and asked them to wear it on that day. The ones that were not worn that day were suspected to be on Ebay instead.

30. Orlando and Dominic (I believe that it was Dom and not Billy who went...feel free to correct me if I am wrong though) went against the wishes of Peter Jackson and went bugee jumping during the filming days of LotR.
Naughty boys they are. (laughs) They certainly did break the rules.

41. Sean Astin didn't read the books before filming began (he tried to but he has attention issues or something).
