I agree that Bored of the Rings is just totally..well, stupid.
It does have it's funny bits. Like when Gandalf is sitting thinking at the gates of Moria and doesn't know how to open it and Frodo or Pippin says "Gandalf! the doorknob!"

well...i thought it was funny" but that book is just stupid, it really is.

Well isn't that what a parody is supposed to do? I mean make fun of the characters and have them do the exact opposite of the real story? That's what is so hilarious about them, like the Sam + Frodo love story for instance

I HATE I HATE, HATE, HATE LOTR PARODIES! who was the idiot imbesill who wrote bored of the rings, the name tells the authors opinion of lotr already! I think all parodies insult Tolkien and his masterpiece, that means so much to some ppl (like me!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHH!

well, i have one thing to say.
calm down! parodies are just a bit of fun, your not meant to take them so seriously! and if parodies bother you that much, don't read/watch them! just ignore them instead of screaming "I HATE THEM, I HATE THEM!"
