Ummmmm ... Ingwë is the High King of all Elves; probably the wisest of all, a kind of Manwë junior. But for all that, a remote and shadowy figure. Without Finwë,on the other hand, kind of no mythology, no story. He was the dad of the biggest Elven nutter Fëanor, but also of Fingolfin (and grandfather of Turgon, and great-great grandfather of Eärendil, and g-g-g grandfather of Elros and Elrond) and Finarfin, himself most noteworthy as father of Finrod Felagund and Galadriel. So I guess Finwë. Turgon or Galadriel? |

Ancalagon. Scatha seems to have been a cold-drake which could't fly, and was actually killed by a man, Fram son of Frumgar of the Men of the Éothéod (ancestors of the Rohirrim). Kind of a wimpy lizard, somehow. Carcharoth or Tevildo? |
