So I was reading through the Comics section of today's paper, when I came across this:

Random, I know, but I was pretty excited that people are still at least kinda into LotR, even now that it's been out for several years. Naturally, I immediately cut it out and now have it hanging on my wall :D

I know, I love that when you can at least know that society hasn't entirely forgotten, eh?

Yes! Though, it's gettting even harder to see 'new' Rings stuff around.. whenever I find something I get a mixture of happiness and sadness.. happy that it's still around, sad because it isn't as much as there used to be >.>

Ok. I'll see if I can explain this in an appropraite way. When you swallow something............ something usually happens to it within twenty four hours. And then you flush that something down the toilet. Does that help? Sorry.

Maybe it is only a little piece of LOTR in today's world, but it's comforting to know that people still care enough about LOTR to put it in the paper. Thanks for sharing POTR. You seem like a cool person. I'd like to know you better.

gollum13, yours was hilarious! LOL.

I always get a sort of twinge when I see LotR stuff - there are no more big displays and it's on the sale rack a lot and I wish...I dunno...I wonder if they'll do something special for the movies' 10th anniversary :P

That would be beyond amazing! Especially since I'm so upset because I never saw a single LOTR movie in theaters. :'( I know. It's terrible. I feel awful about it now. Back then, LOTR wasn't even part of my life. And now I sorely regret it. *sigh* But I absolutely love it now, and it's a huge part of my life, so it kind of makes up for it.
But not quite.
I really hope they do put them back in theaters!
