me and some of my friends have been taking pictures of models of legolas and sam in various places around the country. we must have about 40 so far - legolas outside buckingham palace, sam playing poker in my college canteen, legolas and sam playing on video games at the oxford service station, legolas reading a copy of lord of the rings in borders...
what's the weirdest lotr-related thing you've ever done?

I'd be very interested in seeing some pics! That sounds like fun! I haven't done anything really strange. I know a girl who, if she got elected for homecoming queen, was going to take a Legolas standup with her. I never found out if she did or not. lol

*scratctes head* I don't think I have done many LotR-related activities... wierd of not...
Well, when RotK came out I was in L.A. and we got tickets to the movie at 00:01 in Universal Studios... we happened to be there the same day and didn't expect to get tickets but after waiting in line for two hours or so, we got in... and we chose to see it there mainly so we could say that we saw it on the opening night in Hollywood, lol
Well, my main point of posting here was actually to ask for your pictures as well eowyn!
You need to uploade the pictures to website like Photobucket or similar. Then you copy the URL of the picture and put it between in your post and the picture should show!

i think the wierdest thing i did was that me and my friend watched LotR in school when we didnt have classes in empty classrooms and at the end my friend completely threw me off by throwing me a small party in class cuz she knew i loved it so much. her mom actually made us elven cloaks and she had her uncle have the picture of the ring on this sheet of chocolate. it was the sweetest thing but also the wierdest since it was in school and then we were walking around in teh halways wearing those cloaks.

thanks for the help. there's too many to upload all of them, but here are some of the best:
legolas outside buckingham palace
legolas reading lord of the rings (and looking rather confused)
legolas buying lord of the rings
sam playing poker in my college canteen
sam breaking the rules
sam and legolas make friends with a big purple dinosaur
sam and legolas eating maccies fries in london (a bit blurry unfortunately)
hope that worked. enjoy![/img]

yeah, it was a great laugh taking them. the one of legolas paying at the till was the funniest to take - we were in waterstones and we had to wait for the cashier to wander off for a minute, then take it really quickly before she got back.
if you do take any of your own, i'd love to see them.

Those are awesome pics! We should do something like that forum wide- get everyone to take a few pics of landmarks in their area with a LotR action figure! lol
A couple of days ago I made lembas bread. It's yummy! I made some for my youth pastor (who's a LotR fan), wrapped it in mallorn leaves (print-outs I colored), and brought it to church today. He laughed when he saw them.

Ha ha! I have got to get some LotR action figures...
Sometimes when I'm more crazy then usual I run around the house barefoot pretending I'm some sort of elf-ranger-hobbit cross with a green ribbon tied around my head and gloves with the fingers cut off and wave my sword around.
Yeah. My family worries about my mental state.

Wow this one is going to sound dumb: My mom hates the LOTR movies, especially Gollum, so I'll crouch at the top of the stairs and when she walks by I'll do an gollum imatation of "My precious..."
