81) Dom's theory about why Elijah's eyes are so big is that when he was little, he opened them wide trying to see (since he can't see very well without contacts), and they stayed that way. lol

82) The sound effect for Barad-Dur crumbling was made (as i recall) by grinding bits of glass ontop of eachother.

84) Said trailer had only been driven a couple of times, and by the crew. But then, during the last day for Viggo's shooting, Bernard Hill drove it - 'The Ride of the Kings' as he called it. Something along those lines, anyway. I probably missed a couple of details.

87. During the filming of the Tower of Cirith Ungol scene, Sean asked the person who did the lighting (i think said lighting-person's rather famous, but i can't remember his name  ) where the light on Frodo's torso was coming from (since apparently most of the time it's good to have the light in a set coming from a visible source), and the lighting-person (what's-his-name--sorry, lol) said, "Same place as the music." lol :P

So that was why I felt so satisfied! I love the sound of glass breaking. It's very stress-relieving.

Hmm...This one has most likely already been done, but: Sean and Elijah had a long, drawn-out fight when Sam rescues Frodo from the nazgul; they had a lot of fun doing it, too. But it was pretty much all cut out, because when Elijah draws the sword it's more "dramatic".

91. Every cast and crew member who worked on the Helm's Deep set got a t-shirt that says "I Survived Helm's Deep". (I want one! :P)

92. A sound man stuck a piece of duct tape on Billy Boyd's chest once because apparently his chest hair was making too much noise. Don't ask me how...

95. And if I recall correctly, Viggo's pictures spread throughout the trailor and he eventually bought it.

96. Ian Holm (I think), Elijah Wood, and Andy Serkis were all given a copy of the one ring, and all believed that they possessed the only one.

97. In that scene in FOTR where Pippin gets hits in the face with an apple, Viggo was actually physically throwing the apples at him.
