As I recall I sketched out their garb, but I've lost the papers. Let me do an internet search, I know a little about the costume web, just a moment.
....
ACS is the best costume site out there, here's their write up. It should help you quite a bit.
http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/Hum ... Ranger.htm
Go to this site, tons of info, scroll down a bit and there's a whole bunch of things about the ranger outfit.
http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/Exh ... ewXaJB.htm
Not a lot of info, but thought I'd post it anyway:
http://www.eonline.com/Features/Special ... 0101c.html

I think that the first and second links are amazing resources and about the best you're going to get. If you look for the pattern directory on ACS (just go back to the main page) it might help you out a bit.

I really hope this helped! PM me if you need more, I'll see what I can do.

Okay im planning to see it tomorrow- yay! Ive read all of the posts and it sounds great! Im bummed that you cant even sketch in the Houston exibit! I would have loved to do some sketching but o well. My family arnt LotR 'haters' but they have never read the books. They have seen the movie, they think its okay but they are big fans like me. Either way they agreed to take me. Its easy anyways because i live in Houston and so the exibit is close by! :bounce: :-D

How was it? If I lived in Houston, I would have drained my bank account going to it every day...

I saw it in Boston last year when Sean Astin was there doing a book sigining. My friend and I went dressed as elves. The stuff in there was amazing! I personally loved the Boromir wax model in the boat. It was so detailed, it was creepy :).

When I was there a little kid(Like 5) and his mother came up, and he said:"Why is that man sleeping in there?" Boromir was rather creepy.

Is the LOTR symphony going to perform in Indy in conjunction with the exhibit like Houston?
