I just realized that even at the end of TROK legolas never found a girl in the movie. I'm embarassed to ask this but was it ever mentioned in the book that he had found a match just like Aragorn, Faramir, and Sam? SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME BEFORE I GO INSANE LOOKING AT THE CHAPTERS OR THE LOTR BOOKS!! :):)

No, don't be embarrassed...anyone who truly cares about the characters asks themselves these things. Anyway, I believe in the Appendices or else toward the very end of ROTK it mentions that Legolas brought some of the Mirkwood Elves with him to Ithilien (the province of Gondor that Faramir and Eowyn were appointed Prince and Princess of) and lived there with them until after Aragorn died, in Fourth Age 1541. Then, it says at the very end of Appendix A: "But when King Elessar gave up his life Legolas followed at last the desire of his heart and went over the sea...We have heard that Legolas took Gimli Gloin's son with him because of their great friendship, greater than any that has been between Elf and Dwarf." You notice it doesn't say he never had a girl, it just doesn't mention anything about it. One theory of some people on this board is that he found someone at the Grey Havens, and one I've just come up with is that he had one while in Ithilien. But really, no one knows. I hope that helped you.

(Oh, and if you wanted to know, Eomer, Pippin, and Merry also got married.)

I'm not sure if he should find a girl but even if he did, I don't think it'd matter much to the fangirls. His girl would probably just be severely hated by Legolas's fangirls. ^_^ He'd still have a million fangirls...
