In Return of the King when Frodo is comforting Sam and Sam was crying and talking about Rosie, he says, "Rosie Cotton dancing! She had ribbons in her hair!" I didn't see any ribbons...did anybody else?

Nope there definitely were ribbons... just not very visible 
You can see the line of the ribbon on the back of her head... and as I said, I think it's blue. |

Are you sure that is a ribbon? It looks like another curl or something...eh, well, I suppose it could be since you never really see the back of her head that that's where they are and Sam saw them. :/

Well I think we all love the story just as much, but errors like that aren't supposed to be thought about so much, even though we do it anyway. And yeah, that's got to have been a ribbon... golden curls aren't normally straight and blue. |
