Cool! I have some chainmail links, but I haven't had time to do all that big a project. (Patience might be more of an issue. :P)

here do you get chainmail links and how do you clip them together so they don't snag? This site: http://www.scendan.com/lotrindex.htm has a chainmail section, but that's all the info I have.

I got my links from theringlord.com, I think that's the site. I'm not much of an authority on the matter, I've just made chains and bracelets. Not enough time.

Post subject:  I'm selling Requiem outfit on Ebay

I've created Requiem Outfit last year for Halloween and it is brilliant.

I am currently selling it on Ebay for estimated US$250. It consists of cloak, dress(2 piece) and matching purse.

Check it out :)

Hi ErulissëEnethNîn,

The pattern you have purchase has a "princess" bodice which is not the case with Arwen's dressess, though is still pretty good.

I made a dress out of McCalls pattern 4492 I think... I'd have to dig out the package, but it turned out GREAT! I made it for a Renaissance Faire. It was ALL PINK!!! (and it's a long heavy dress like 15 YARDS of PINK!!) I was trying to make my own (PINK) version of the Cranberry dress, (didn't turn out that way) but it still looked great and I got a lot of compliments, and know my 3yr old sis says it's my "Princess dress" (she has a dress up princess dress so whenever she puts hers on she want's me to put mine on as well, it's very cute :)) I want to make an outfit that is not (technically) Lotr, but it resembles (not really but...) Eowyn's dresses, which works cuz it's semi-time period for the Faire (which is 9 months away, talk about planning!) and I have long blonde hair to go with it! YAY!!

P.S. I LOVE AND ADORE www.alleycatscratch.com !!!!! YAY!!!

yeah but my mom is a seamstress and she could easily modify the pattern for me. i just loved the sleeves on this one, more than on the Simplicity one.
