Post subject:  Frodo and Bilbo's birthday is coming!
There's some disagreement as to when the birthday should be celebrated (Wikipedia has a good article on this at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobbit_Day)

But I've always gone with September 22. Kinda like Christmas, I guess. The December 25 date isn't technically accurate, it's just convenient. (And it makes it nice for Pagans like me LOL)

I know this post is a little early, but September 21 was my grandmother's birthday and I always think about her more this time of year, which of course leads to thinking about Bilbo and Frodo... :hug:

I don't know, but it would be cool to make a virtual party thread or something. :) at home I'm making apple pie, lembas bread, and some sort of mushroom dish. :P

no, unfortunately. I don't have that many friends who like LOTR that much. :( THey like it, but not so much. Who knows though? Maybe I'll be able to put something together, like an LOTR Marathon! :)

that's what I want to do! but my friends are kind of like that too, and they're probably coming more to be with me than to celebrate the birthdays. xD so I'll have the marathon by myself.
