I didn't know where else to put this, so I'll place it here. :happy:

Today is the famous J.R.R. Tolkien's birthday! He possessed remarkable talent and a remarkable mind; he's one of my favourite authors. :)

If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't be the fantasy-lover and dork that I am. :lol:

I hear people are raising a toast to him at 9pm in their local time. I'll definitely be joining them. :D Fabulous man, I totally agree that he's made me who I am, and I'm so glad he did! :P

Did anyone celebrate his birthday in any special way?
I did by picking up the hobbit and started reading it for the fifth time. :)
