Treebeard stolen

Treebeard was next due to appear at the Mas Carnival in Swansea, UK.

A group of artists are appealing for help to find a giant Lord of the Rings puppet stolen at the Womad Festival.

The 14ft (4.3m) effigy of the character Treebeard was taken from the children's tent on Monday afternoon, along with the troupe's tools, worth approx. $400-$500. Smilie-14.gif

The group, from south Wales, spent the weekend helping children make costumes for a parade, with Treebeard the star. Smilie-14.gif

Yeah! How could anyone ever hope to steel a great, big, barky, leafy, famous, symbolic (and probably very expensive) TREEBEARD?! :annoyed: I can't believe that thing is gone...it was in the news at Council-of-Elrond too!

That reminds me of the serial Spongebob swiper.
There was this guy going around Colorado taking the giant Spongebob inflatables off of local Burger Kings :confused2: . He got caught, so I think this ent kidnapper will get caught soon.
