I thought it would actually be the 27th on our calendar. Didn't it say that in appendix D? Or did I imagine that? I thought it was because the dates in LotR are using the shire calendar, which would mean that October 1418 would have had 30 days, making January 1st actually the second day of 1419, and then February would have 30 days, so that March 25 by the shire reconing would be March 27 by our calendar. Is that right? Then didnt it say that the date was March 25 by the Kings' and stewards' reconings too? Im not sure, but I think so. Please correct me if im wrong. |

I guess the next day of celebration is a long way off: May 1st which is Aragorn's Coronation day. I hope I'll still be active here when that happens. |
