Check it out in case it had better programming than what is currently the norm on German (mostly the advertising-financed part) TV. WWYD if Gandalf offered you the chance to take a short ride on Shadowfax (meaning of course none of the saddle / bridle stuff, and that Shadowfax had also consented to the ride)? |

I would most certainly take it. I grew up riding without a saddle and have ridden my share of horses with no bridle. What’s the worst that could happen? I have fallen off a horse too, so the experience is worth the risk.  WWYDI Tom Bombadil showed up at your house for tea? |

Simple. If they're so desparate as to ask ME to "help" them against Gondor, then they don't stand a chance anymore. And the stuff in the wagon in such a circumstance is very likely iron pyrite aka "fool's gold", as they've probably used up the real stuff in trying to bribe really useful allies. So my answer would be "thanks, but no thanks."  WWYD if (movie) Éowyn offered to teach you "Rohirrim home cooking"? |
