I've read the Sil, covering the First Age, and the Appendices covering the Second and Third Ages. Thanks, but no thanks!  And if you mean our past - very soon, without the Babel Fish from the Douglas Adams universe, I would run out of people to talk to. And very much sooner, the kind of accomadations we've become used to. Same answer as above.
