When it comes to Lord of the rings, what's the funniest thing you've done that proves how much you're obsessed [or how much you like] it?
I've done so many:
I've saw a flock of birds and yelled 'Crebain From Dunland...HIDE!' lol
I've walked to school alone and played FOTR from the start in my head quoting everything along the way [it was a mini tv it was awesome!] i got up to Bilbo's Party.
I've listened to my friends talking and everytime i hear them say something which comes up in any LOTR movie e.g. take it etc. i'll quote the whole line from LOTR
I've quoted lines from the games.
Everytime i'm not sure of something i'll say 'what is going on' in a scottish accent.
If someone does something stupid i'll yell 'fool of a took' at them
lol that's only a few...and i'm not exaggerating. I have actually done these things. I'm Nicknamed Jenjo Baggins because of my <s>love for</s> passion for LOTR lol

Conducting a large plastic-ruler battle at the back of my English class for THE GLORY OF SAURON AND THE DESTRUCTION OF ALL THAT IS GREEN AND GOOD. Then, getting caught, and being made to explain why Lord of the Rings plastic-ruler battles were not contributing to my learning as an individual.

Well, erm i once... well me and my mate played out the council of elrond I had written scripts and everything, though i knew i didn't need them, they were for my mate who didn't know much about it, except she only fancied Sam Gamgee and Legolas. anyway, she only agreed to do it if i played Boromir, Gandalf and Elrond, (we played a few characters each, it made it more fun and comical) also she would only do it if she could paint a boromir beard on me... it wouldn't come off for ages after i had scrubbed and washed. oh the humilation!

A few things that I did was:
1) One time I was coming home from a camping trip and I was watching LOTR:FOTR in my head and I was saying all the lines with the accents, as I was watching it in my head. My father actually told me to be quiet.
2) I was play fighting with my nephew and I shouted "FOR GONDOR!!" as I started to attack.
3) I was at school and I started singing in elvish and everyone looked at me with the "wth?" face.

heh.. waaaay back now, I was sittin on the lounge, an add for TTT DVD was on TV, i saw a gollum scene - which set me off.. I was quoting him like mad - as you do
I went into the kitchen singin' "..the rock and pool, so nice and cool etc", got a drink and grabbed some fruit, next minute, my parents, two aunties, grandmother and her partner burst through the doors catching me during the " ... so Jui-cy sweeeeeeeeeeeet!" part.. oh the embarrasment!
They never shut up about it since >< darn gollum!
A month later, they got me the One Ring XP

Funniest thing I ever did that was Lord of the Rings-y was... well I flip out when people touch my LotR books and I pull weapons (try pointy pencils) on people who try and take them from me and i chase around people who actually succeed... but I suppose that's it. Oh, and I do that "Fool of a Took!" thing, too, and I randomly quote Gandalf, e.g. "Sauron is brewing some devilry to greet us." and, "What is this devilry?!"

Early in the morning at camp, everyone was asleep and our cabin was nice, peaceful and quiet.. I wake up and stroll to the window, then I see a pretty pink sky (very rainy though...) and I say in a loud and clear voice:: "A red sun rises.. blood has been spilt this night."... and my cabin kind of woke up groggily and looked at me like I was some kind of mental idiot who actually did the blood-spilling.

Hmm...I don't know of anything I've ever done, but once my friend acted out Gollum in 5th grade and she was hopping around the floor of the classroom like a nut.

An army of friends and I ripped One Rings off bookmarks, ran around our school, put them on yelling "I'M FRODO!!! YOU CAN'T SEE ME!!!" When we walked out to recess, after passing a certain stretch of wall, I would run into it yelling "NAZGUL! RUN!!!!!!!!"

Haha... here are a list of a few random/crazy things I've done. But hey, I'm random and crazy all the time, so it's nothing special!!
1. When my ringer-nephew and I were both sweeping the porch, we discovered the brooms felt incredibly like staffs. Whee! It was Saruman and Gandalf all over again! The ony sad thing is, in our attempts to go smashing up against walls realistically... we broke a lot of stuff. And I got a HUGE blue mark on the side of my hide, hah. The sweeping never was done.
2. I, once on a dare, crept up to a poor unsuspecting tourist lady on a bus, and said... "we wants it! we knows you have it! let us see your pocketses!!" and when she asked, what? I said, ...can you guess? "thah prrreeeciousssssss."
3. At orchestra, when the teacher had left me in charge... one of the started playing the Green Dragon Inn song on is fiddle, and another girl and I found out we had the WHOLE dance memorized, by doing it, lol.

1.) Whenever I get mad at someone I say: "You stupid fat hobbit!" with a Smeagol voice.
2.) Whenever something about LOTR comes up in a conversation, I will rant abou it for hours!
3.) I can actually speak some Elvish.
