Ever notice the little mentions of Arwen in FOTR? For exampl, when the hobbits are asking aragorn about Rivendell and he says "thats where my heart is", in The Ring Gose South, when the company is about to depart from Elrond's house, Aragorn is sitting in a crouched position followed by the lines "Only Elrond knew what this hour ment to him." Do u thik its a reference to Arwen, Claiming the Throne, or both? I'd say both. :-D

J.R.R. Tolkien was 81 when he died in 1973. The animated Lord of the Rings movie came out in 1978, but I'm not sure if Tolkien had known about it before hand. He definantly did not know about PJ's LotR movies. :)
