That part actually...the first time I saw it gave me this very sick feeling in my stomache. but the second time i watched it, I did cry. But I don't like to think of it as ending because you can always re-live them again and again!

I was so depressed at the end. Now that I've bought all 3 DVD's I can watch them whenever I want, and re-read the books, and come on here...so I know that it's not over. I'm not depressed anymore. But when those credits rolled, man, I felt like crying...I was so depressed during the car ride home. And I was really sad throughout the whole thing...held back my tears, tho, cause I was with my dad!

I teared up. I got that hollow feeling.. "no! no I don't want it to end! keep going!" It was depressing, indeed, but it IS a very fine way to end the story..even if it tears out your heart strings. :grr:

Like when all good Triology's end, I felt sad,and empty only because that's it you know! Its actually the end, theres nothing more to grab onto! And slightly angry! Angry that, that was it, there wasnt any more!

And it was such a sad ending! I saw it first with a friend at the movies and I hate crying in front of people so there was a big ball in my throat and the tears poured out! I've sae it only 3 times and every time I've cryed!

That was just the way I felt too... I can hardly cry in front of other people and I really forced myself not to cry when I sat in the cinema... and when it was over I just thought: this cannot be the end, it can't be over now. I also was sorta angry because it was over..

I felt more than saddness. It was sort of an emptiness. There was no little hype of "Ohhh, just think of the next one!" There was no more researching day and night to find tid bits of rumors, or see pictures.

That's exactly how I felt. So sad, that there would be no point in crying, because the sadness went way deeper than just tears. No more "OMG i can't wait until the next movie!!!" And I felt like that until the EE came out... then i could watch it over and over and over again! So then it got me into reading The Silmarillion and Unfinished tales... those books are good! But still... i still feel hollow every time i finish reading the book or watching the movie.
