Post subject:  How the Lord of the Rings can be tied to anything
This should be easy for everybody. Quite simply, name people you know who can be easily tied back to the Lord of the Rings. THEY CANNOT BE THE ACTORS/CREW THEMSELVES!!! Sorry, just wanted to be clear on that. So, an example would be something like this:

Nathan Fillion stars in Slither, who was in Serenity, which was directed by Joss Whedon, who also created Firefly, which had Fillion and Alan Tudyk, who had a role in A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger, who was in Ned Kelly with Orlando Bloom, who (we all know) was Legolas in the Lord of the Rings.

Get it? You should connect it to else in your life that you like (i.e.: I LOVE NATHAN FILLION, and Slither looks super, I can find an episode of Firefly enjoyable (hooray for torutre (I'm crazy)!), I love Heath Ledger, and thus have a supe love for LotR). If your life consists of only LotR, I don't reccomend that you play... sorry... but you can lie if you wanted!

Let me see if I can get this right....

Michael Caine is in Batman Begins with Liam Neeson who was with Orlando Bloom in Kingdom of Heaven and Orlando is in LOTR :confused:

Hmmmmm.

James Spader played Daniel Jackson in Stargate, which then became a series. The actor who played Denethor was in a Stargate SG-1 episode, and as we all know he played Denethor in LotR.

OH I play this game all the time! i'm going to try from the Haunting. Catharin Zeta Jones plays Theo And she plays Maria with is in that role with Antonio Bandaras (you know he was Zorro in Zorro) and plays some dude (have not seen it) in Once Apon a Time in Mexico, that Johnny Depp Has a role as blah (Have not seen it so I don't know) That plays in Pirates of the Carrabean as Captin Jack Sparrow with Orlando Bloom as Will Turner and plays Legolas in The Lord of the Rings

Buffy the Vampire Slayer had co-star Seth Green who did the voice for the dog in '100 Deeds For Eddie Mc'-something which Sean Astin directed. And Sean Astin is our beloved Samwise Gamgee :)

The episode 'Soulless' from the 4th season of 'Angel' was directed by Sean Astin, our beloved Samewise Gamgee.
